The sound quality of a stereo or multi-channel playback system is mainly determined by two factors:<\/p>\n
Acustica Applicata has been dealing mainly with this last point for over 30 years, building products of its own design (DAAD and Variable Resonators) that respond to a concept of sound reproduction …. musical, that is, vivid, present, transparent and dynamic, non-trivial acoustic treatments to reduce noise in offices and canteens, applied to environments where music is made or reproduced, in short!
Aiming at the final result, Acustica Applicata also willingly took care of the other “rings” in the audio chain when along its path encountered products with extraordinary performances, as is the case with the ALIENO amplifications and the De Antoni cables, the Avalon speakers and the JBL ones of Summit series.
While supporting what is expressed in point 1, Acustica Applicata does not sell or distribute recorded media.
However, discovering great recordings, is an integral part of how we are both passionate audiophiles and professionals in the business of high-quality home music reproduction.
The following is a “work in progress” list of titles that we consider reference, that we use in our certified listening rooms and that we wish to share with the visitor of this website and our listening rooms.
It is the result of our navigation within the passion for music and stereophony and is made up of recordings of great value. Being part of this list, all the titles are \u201cexcellent\u201d: we won’t write it for every title!
Wanting to be agile and immediate, we will briefly describe some notes aimed at highlighting the predominant sound characteristics of each one.
Maintaining for them the respect they deserve, we will try to avoid… the usual, big famous titles (such as \u201cJazz at the Pawnshop\u201d, \u201cThe Weavers at Carnegie Hall\u201d, \u201cCantate Domino\u201d, \u201cHope\u201d H.Masekela, \u201cWitches’ Brew\u201d A.Gibson-Rca Living Stereo, etc. etc.): there are very valid less famous recordings from the past and present that must emerge or re-emerge.
In our main listening room we have a digital source (CD player) and an analogue source (professional reel-to-reel recorder). In the other certified rooms there are also important turntables and prestigious analogue collections.
However, for convenience, the list will essentially be made up of indicating the CD version, well aware that there is also a corresponding LP release for practically everything.

Nella nostra sala d\u2019ascolto principale abbiamo una fonte digitale (CD player) ed una analogica (registratore a bobine professionale). Nelle altre sale certificate sono presenti anche importanti giradischi e prestigiose collezioni analogiche.
Tuttavia, per praticit\u00e0, la lista sar\u00e0 essenzialmente composta indicando la versione CD, ben consapevoli che di praticamente tutto esiste anche la corrispondente stampa LP.<\/p>
