In his youth, under license from Acoustic Sciences Corporation U.S.A., he undertook the production and European distribution of Tube Traps.<\/p>\n
At the end of the last century, Acustica Applicata created his own original products, the DAAD (Diffusion Absorption Acoustic Device), abandoning the production and distribution of Tube Traps.<\/p>\n
In the following years Acustica Applicata devoted herself to the study, design and production of new acoustic devices, the variable resonators, which took shape and substance with Polifemo, Volcano, Halifax and Periscopio.<\/p>\n
The creation of new and increasingly advanced passive devices for the intervention of acoustic enhancement of domestic or professional environments dedicated to music, has gone hand in hand with the deepening of the themes concerning musical reproduction and with the continuous, radical evolution of set-up strategies of the stereophonic and multi-channel reproduction systems in the listening rooms.<\/p>\n
The constant theoretical research combined with the punctual application in the field, carried out during the hundreds of set-ups mainly achieved in Italy, in Europe, but also in Asia and in the USA, dealing with rooms and hi-fi systems of all sizes and values, the strong motivational push in going further and further to discover how music reproduced in stereo or multi-channel could approach the psycho-physical-cultural experience of real listening, has led us to a new, more advanced frontier of music reproduction in home listening rooms.<\/p>\n
Today in our set-ups, with our acoustic improvement systems, first of all we define \u2026 a new space that virtually goes beyond the sizes of the real space available and literally places the listener in another place, often superimposable on the recording venue.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, through a process of acoustic refinement made possible by the “plasticity” of the acoustic systems conceived by Acustica Applicata, the correct dimensional ratios of the soundstage are sought, the focus and the speed of the transients, in a framework of balanced conservation of the music energy offered by the recording and by the reproduction system.<\/p>\n
All this gives rise to a new and exciting listening experience that words cannot describe. You have to live it, try it.<\/p>\n
During Hi-Fi trade shows, with our “closed doors” method of participation to listening sessions, which aims to respect and favour those who wish to listen, given the limited time available for setting up the reproduction systems in bare and noisy hotel rooms, we only manage to provide a hint of what it would be possible to achieve thanks to the careful use of the acoustic products developed by Acustica Applicata.<\/p>\n
The pure & true physical-emotional participation which is achievable by experiencing a musical event reproduced in a listening room set up with our strategies and products, is fully achievable in one of the “Thirtieth Anniversary” certified listening rooms listed on this page, which are our flagships.<\/p>\n
